Policies
All Serephine LLC pieces are made upon receipt of order and payment, currently in approximately 4 weeks (4 week timeline effective 5/23/13. All orders placed during the previous 6 week processing window are held to that timeline). Sales tax is added to purchases in Washington state. It is important to note that each piece is handmade and therefore may vary slightly from the image shown. Dye lots are small and hand-mixed, so color tones may vary every so slightly. All pieces that contain rhinestone center jewelry may vary as many pieces are vintage, or one of a kind. Please care carefully for your item: keep it out of direct sunlight for storage, and the rain. Do not wash them as items are hand-sewn and silk flowers are hand-pressed to keep their shape. Keep them stored away from dust and any pets or small children who might view them as toys.

Please make sure you provide the correct ship-to address.
Within the U.S:
Serephine pieces are shipped via USPS Priority mail with tracking and delivery confirmation, to ensure safe and prompt arrival. Shipping usually takes an average of 3-4 business days (excluding production time of about 6 weeks) and costs $9.00.
Internationally:
International Serephine packages are shipped via USPS Priority mail with tracking and delivery confirmation, to ensure safe and prompt arrival. Shipping takes anywhere from 10 days to 6 weeks (excluding production time), due to variations in customs procedures.
For both domestic and international orders: If your package's tracking says "delivered" and you cannot find it at your address, you must contact your local post office/ customs office, and provide them with your package's tracking/ registration number (which Serephine provides to all customers upon shipping). If your item reads "delivered" and is not at your address, you must file a claim with your post office, and file a police report for a lost/ stolen package. Please keep in mind, if your item is listed by the post as "delivered," there is very little Serephine can do to track the whereabouts of your package.
Serephine is not responsible for any customs fees or taxes incurred. Serephine is not responsible for delays caused by the Postal Service, nor items not delivered because of incorrect delivery information provided by the client. Serephine is not responsible for lost or stolen packages if your item has been confirmed as "delivered" by the post.
All items arrive elegantly gift-wrapped. To help save our trees, receipts are not included in the packaging. If you would like a receipt, please note your request in the "notes to seller" upon checkout, or email to request one.
Returns:
Because my items are made-to-order, I make them only upon placement of your order. Please think carefully about your order before placing it. If an item is customized in any way, it may not be returned. All other unworn and undamaged items may be returned, at the cost of the customer, within 7 days of purchase (confirmed by tracking), and are subject to a 20% restocking fee once the item arrives back at the Serephine studio. Refunds will not be afforded if the item arrives damaged or obviously worn. Purchases made with Gilt City promotional discounts are final sale.
